Supported variants

Static images only. WebP: no animation, ICC, EXIF or XMP. Renaming an extension does not change its format.

    Output settings TIFF output

One uncompressed RGB/RGBA TIFF per input, at 96 DPI. Alpha is retained. These files can be much larger than compressed source images; resize first if the 20 MiB output cap is reached.

    About this tool

Create a real uncompressed TIFF image from supported WebP input in your browser.

    Supported input
    WebP
    Output format
    TIFF
    Batch size
Up to 5 files; format and combined limits below still apply.

    How it works

    1. Add WebP files in Input. Review each thumbnail and its validation status.
    2. Create the TIFF output, then check the downloaded image. Transparency is retained as unassociated alpha when needed.
    3. Create the selected files. Compare original and result, then download an individual file or ZIP. Changing settings marks older results out of date.

    Supported files and limits

Up to 5 files, 10 MiB each and 25 MiB combined. Each image must fit within 8192 pixels per side and 20 million pixels; a batch is limited to 40 million input pixels. Output is limited to 20 MiB per file and 50 MiB combined. One isolated image job runs at a time, with a 30-second timeout and cancellation.

    A practical example

Convert a supported static WebP graphic into single-page TIFF for a TIFF-based workflow. Inspect its transparency in the destination application.

    Troubleshooting this tool

This is an uncompressed raster copy, not a colour-managed print conversion. Animation and unsupported metadata are rejected, and output size can exceed the source considerably.

WebP input must contain one static image. Animation, ICC profiles, EXIF, XMP and unsupported container chunks are rejected. Both lossy and lossless input bitstreams are decoded by the browser; this tool does not promise lossless WebP output.

    Check the actual export

Single-page classic TIFF, unsigned 8-bit RGB/RGBA, uncompressed. Output uses 96 DPI and does not retain source metadata. Uncompressed files can be much larger than the source; resize first if output exceeds 20 MiB. Inspect downloaded dimensions, transparency and fine edges before replacing an original. Browser encoders differ; a quality setting is not a universal fidelity score, and file size may increase.

    Files stay in your browser

No file bytes are uploaded. Ordinary work stays in memory. Choosing a “Continue” action saves that result in this browser for up to 30 minutes, so another compatible working tool can use the actual output. Saved workflows are limited to 50 MiB and 20 files; clear them in Output. Expired entries are removed on later tool visits. Clearing references is not a secure-erasure promise.

    If a file fails

Check its actual format and the restrictions above. Renaming a file does not convert it. A failed file does not erase successful batch results. If processing times out, cancel and try fewer or smaller files. A current browser with worker canvas support is required.

    Before you use the download

    • Check the exported dimensions and colour appearance in the destination application.
    • Uncompressed output can be large; This TIFF is a single uncompressed raster image without preserved print-profile or resolution metadata.
